Former teacher turned Realtor. Have you heard that some of the best Realtors are former teachers? Well, I’d like to prove this statement true with my 5 years of teaching experience and 19+ years of experience as a real estate agent.
I graduated from SCSU in 1992 with a degree in Elementary Education and a coaching licensure. I taught elementary school and coached volleyball for 5 years. I spent the next 5 years in sales/marketing positions, and then 2 years as Director of Education at Sylvan Learning Center in Minnetonka. Throughout these experiences, I realized that I love working with people, I love learning, and I love helping and teaching others.
In 2004, I moved back to the Rochester area to be closer to family and friends. It was at that point that I wanted to learn as much as I could about real estate and to help others with their real estate needs.
I work hard with my sellers to prepare their home for the strong market and watch out for my buyers in the home buying process. I am detailed, organized, and always watch out for the best interest of my clients.
Because I enjoy volunteering in the community and organizing events, I sponsor a neighborhood garage sale every May for the Diamond Ridge/Country Club Manor Neighborhoods in NW Rochester. This has been great for meeting new people and for my growing business. I am the president of my networking group with Master Networks: The Thursday Noon Rock Stars.
In my free time, you can usually find me spending time with my friends and family (I have 6 younger sisters & 27 nieces/nephews), biking/hiking, on the water, or working on my home/yard. I love home improvements and love when clients show me their updates!
