Former teacher turned Realtor. Have you heard that some of the best Realtors are former teachers? Well, I’d like to prove this statement true with my 17 years of experience as an agent.
I graduated from SCSU in 1992 with a degree in Elementary Education and a coaching licensure. I taught elementary school and coached volleyball for 5 years. I spent the next 5 years in sales/marketing positions, and then 2 years as Director of Education at Sylvan Learning Center in Minnetonka. Throughout these experiences, I realized that I love working with people, I love learning, and I love helping and teaching others.
In 2004, I moved back to the Rochester area to be closer to family and friends. It was at that point that I wanted to learn as much as I could about real estate and to help others with their real estate needs.
I work hard with my sellers to prepare their home for the competitive market and watch out for my buyers in the home buying process. I am detailed, organized, and always watch out for the best interest of my clients.
Because I enjoy volunteering in the community and organizing events, I sponsor a neighborhood garage sale every May for the Diamond Ridge/Country Club Manor Neighborhoods in NW Rochester. This has been great for meeting new people and for my growing business. I am a member of Master Networks and I enjoy helping with the training and organizing of events.
In my free time, you can usually find me spending time with my friends and family (I have 6 younger sisters, 6 brother-n-laws, & 22 nieces & nephews), hiking, on the water, or working on my home/yard.
Don’t hesitate to contact me for all of your residential real estate needs.
